Given a brief of ‘space’ for my next
assignment, I visited Whixall Moss, a local area of relative wilderness that
offers scope of large landscapes, far horizons and expansive skies (top). The
second image of a motionless pool offered reflections of the sky to enlarge the
space further. Finally, the inclusion of my dog in the third image allowed me
to focus on the foreground with the expanse of moss behind, although the tonal
colours also allow the dog to merge seamlessly with her background.
