This is my emulation of the Jonathan Bielaski image of a farmer. The image retains the key horizontal metal bar feature of the original, along with the farmer being dressed in denim top and a cream hat. The final chosen image from the contact sheet is the one with the most similar head tilt and faraway gaze to the original. I am particularly pleased that despite a lack of natural light in the background, I was able to capture the some textures and features that confirm the image was taken on a working farm. |
Really good work here. To get a grade A you should have another go. Can you see how your picture has no background, very little depth. This is because your subject is much brighter than the interior of the shed. To fix this try and take the photo slightly inside the barn. Is the barn very dark? Can you get any lights in there?
ReplyDeleteYour contact sheets are all very similar. There looks like there is no attempt to change exposure in any way. There is also no evidence that you have change the angle, consider making more changes in your photoshoots.
